Dragon Age: Tell a Story WIP

So I said I wanted to challenge myself. I'm attempting a few things I don't usually do with my work:

1. Draw more realistically. (I usually take the easy road and draw anime because it's in my comfort zone. No longer!)

2. Draw a scene rather than just some boring composition like I usually do.

3. Background, Background, Background.

So it's more Dragon Age Fanart, because I am still very obsessed. This time I tried to take a stab at drawing some of the other characters besides my own. If you can't tell that's Leliana in the center, and Alistair to the right. (My PC in the left) I'm hoping once I bring color to it, it'll look more like them. Then again, maybe not. But it's good practice! I'll just keep telling myself that.

So yeah, I kinda wanted it to look like Leliana was talking about some story she picked up as a minstrel while they were eating their dinner. Sort of a quiet moment for them, I guess? I don't know. I figure I'll draw something appropriately gory next time I draw them, to balance out how mellow this is.

Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. I'm having a hard time figuring out the issues myself, and don't want to start actually really putting in the details until I figure out what I've messed up base wise.

Anywho, Dragon Age is made by Bioware. They're totally awesome.
